The Paradox Outlet

The next series of images is from a short story written by a friend of mine. I just finished the art on this story this past weekend. My friend lettered and sent it off to the printers a couple days ago. I'm just showing the art without the dialogue balloons here. We haven't even seen the printed version yet. I got some great feedback from Michael Lark (of Gotham Central and Daredevil fame) Coming from him, it was indeed an honor.

Dead End Boys conceptuals

These are some concept drawings I did for a proposed new project for Blue Water Productions. Dead End Boys is about a guy who grows up on the streets in a rough neighborhood -- but ends up fighting for good. He rides a motorcycle and wears a yellow leather jacket with an arrow up the back.

Isis Pin-up

This illustration was also done for Blue Water Productions. She is Isis, the Egyptian goddess. In her BWP book, she has been transported to modern-day LA. Most pin-ups either show her in her ancient Egyptian setting or in a battle with someone where the setting isn't easily discerned. I thought it would be interesting to plop the mythical character (in her unique get-up) right smack in the middle of LA, specifically Hollywood. But, what's funny is that she probably wouldn't be looked at all that differently with the type of people one normally sees there.

10th Muse pin-up

Here's a piece I did for Blue Water Productions of their Tenth Muse character. I wanted to use some diagonals and a low point of view to bring some drama to the piece and show her as the woman of action she is.

Hello...good evening...WELCOME!

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I will be posting art here for anyone who wishes to see a sampling for my comic book work and other illustration. I'd love your feedback. If you'd like to commission a piece of art, please email me to discuss rates.
